I could explain the main plot to a new reader in a single sentence, but I'd probably make it sound more interesting than it actually is. There's a lot of potential, but introducing a new character every time the story slows down isn't good writing- it's lazy. The overall story, as well, doesn't know what it's trying to do and jumps around from action to korean drama to sad backstory to useless side characters to mondo-evil mustache-twirling villains. The author is either making things up as they go or think that outlines are for losers because half of the content could be cut and it wouldn't have an effect on the overall story. There's no standard, in art or pacing or storytelling. Some of the art is fantastic, and there are several panels I've saved due to admiring the composition and whatnot there are segments that are absolutely art. Trying to hide his godly strength in a world where being outed is a death sentence? Cool. The main character is interesting at times, specifically in the beginning. Stopped at chapter 80, most likely will not continue it. Doesn't take long to throw all of it off a bridge. Starts off strong, interesting premise, decent world and whatnot.

However, those are secondary when compared to plot and characterization. I liked the humour, the character design and art style. In short, the series had a potential but that potential is wasted really quickly. There are also other times where you see 5 pages of information about some skills. Sometimes something happens and you don't know what is going on. There is not enough explanation for the power system, the world, its people, the otherworlders, and so on. Lots of characters are introduced but they are easily forgettable and you don't see them after 2 chapters anyway.Ĥ)The worldbuilding is bad. Other than him, there is Atisse and later Ephyr. The MC is interesting and funny most of the time. So, no matter how brilliant you write the fight scene or draw it, it becomes meaningless because you know the MC will just beat him in 2 hits or something.ģ)There is a lack of interesting characters. Our MC is so strong that even absurdly strong villains are piece of cake for him. I love overpowered main characters but there needs to be a balance. Because the pacing is almost always slow, it gets boring to read and I really forced myself to finish mere 50 chapters.Ģ)The protagonist is problematic.
However, sometimes, especially during the fights, it ends so quickly that you don't even have any time to comprehend. Here are some things that bothered me:ġ)The pacing is terrible. When we get past the introduction part, the problems start to occur as well. It actually starts out pretty interesting. There are a lot of problems with this one and I won't continue with the 2nd season. I would have quit but I wanted to give it more chance and I managed to finish the 1st season. So, he spends a long time in the tutorial area because he can't level up properly. Everyone is given a guideline (you can level up, use stats, see skills etc) but his guideline is glitched.
